Privacy Policy

• Account data: your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name and verified email from that provider so we can create or link your NicheMaps account. We do not receive your provider password.
• Billing data: subscription status and customer identifiers from our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: product analytics via PostHog (pages viewed, feature usage, in-app surveys, session replay, and error capture) used to operate and improve the Service. We do not use Google Analytics or a Facebook/Meta Pixel.
• Cookies: essential cookies for sign-in sessions and security, plus analytics cookies from PostHog when the SDK loads for real browsers (automated Lighthouse / PageSpeed agents are excluded).

• To provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
• To process subscriptions and prevent fraud;
• To respond to support requests and send service-related notices;
• To understand usage and improve features.

We share data only with service providers who help us operate — for example, our cloud host (AWS), payment processor (Stripe), and sign-in providers (Google and GitHub) — under agreements that require them to protect it. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and operational needs. You may request deletion at any time (see "Your rights").

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, apply least-privilege access, and store secrets in a managed vault. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data. See the Trust Center for the self-serve overview, or the Security page for control details.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@nichemaps.io.

We operate on cloud infrastructure that may process data in the United States and other regions. By using the Service you consent to such processing consistent with this policy.

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
